Ripper rugby Reflection

Ripper rugby Reflection

On Thursday 27 of June some kids went to a park and played Ripper rugby representing our school. That day are first game was against Irongate, the ref was a bit shaky though. Irongate were leading at halftime and the score was 2-0 to Irongate I was a bit bummed out though. It was the second half and I was really pumped and ready to go again, in the first 35 seconds we scored the first try. We went back to halfway and Irongate started with the ball. Irongate taped it and then passed the ball, then they suddenly dropped the ball we all saw it as a opportunity to pick up the ball and score. Renee got the ball and outran everyone on the other team by heaps and that made the score 2-2. We went back to halfway and Irongate tapped the ball then we all missed his tag and they scored a try which made the score 3-2. There was 5 minutes left and the score ended up being 4-4.

The next school we faced was Ma-hora and the first half we were winning 5-0. We were in the second half and we concertedly keeped scoring tries and it ended up being 11-0. In our third match we faced Frimley we won 6-0. In our fourth math we faced firmly again! and we won 7-0. Then are last game we had a by. We went in the semi final against the other Parkvale team and it nerve wracking. at halftime it was 1-0 to us. Then after that it was full time and the score was 3-2 to us but one of Sams try was disallowed because he was defending. So we went into extra time and I scored a good try and we won 3-2. We lost the finals against Te-mata 3-5.
